Dr. Amanjot Kaur, MD

Amanjot Kaur is a Psychiatrist with dual training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry along with Adult Psychiatry. Dr. Kaur specializes in treating mood and anxiety disorders, ADHD, behavioral problems and incorporates her knowledge of psychotherapy along with psychopharmacology in her treatment approach. She provides psychotherapy and medication management as indicated, often in combination with an emphasis on care that is interactive and customized to best meet the individual needs of the person. Dr. Kaur assesses her patient's needs and tailors her approach to address them. She closely works with families as a unit of assessment and also as a unit of treatment.

She has always believed mind is connected to body and a healthy mind brews a healthy body. Dr Kaur's in-depth knowledge of medicine empowers her to help you from all different aspects of body and mind and its overlap. Having that in depth understanding enables her to recognize medical problems that can manifest with emotional symptoms and the other way around. She has a special interest in women's mental health and is trained to treat various mental health conditions in women, including Postpartum Depression and PMDD.

Erwin Reyna, LCSW, CCTP

Erwin Reyna is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Masters of Social Work from Fordham University in NYC. He served 12 years in the United States Marine Corps and continues to serve his community by providing mentorship and guidance to individuals and families going through crisis.

Erwin uses a Systematic, Strengths-Based, and Solution-Focused Approach to support client's self-determination.

Barbara Brown, LPC, MA

Barbara Brown is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the Commonwealth of Virginia with over 30 years of experience working with those challenged with emotional, grief, loss, and life altering and changing experiences that we all face at some point in our lives. Barbara believes that being human is not unique, but how one copes and works through difficult experiences is. She has worked with many people of all ages, children, adolescents, adults and geriatrics in a variety of settings with differing challenges. The bottom line is we all struggle and we all deserve an opportunity to grasp the strength inside ourselves, to empower ourselves to move in ways that are more productive, more life affirming and accepting of who we are and where we hope to go.

Barbara utilizes methods that suit each individual while addressing needs, but also stretching comfort zones which is how we break out of our routines that gets us into the difficulties we experience. It is difficult to ask for help, and reaching out can be very rewarding. Barbara is here when you feel it is your time to reach out.

Camarita Titang, DNP, PMHNP-BC

Camarita Titang is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) licensed in Virginia. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Chamberlain College of Nursing and her Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Walden University. Her training and experience include treating individuals with psychiatric disorders across the lifespan in outpatient clinical settings. She uses evidence-based practice to provide psychopharmacological treatments for various psychiatric disorders that include but are not limited to depression,anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, and mood disorders.


Camarita Titang emphasizes psycho-education to instill confidence in her clients to make informed decisions about their care. She focuses on providing patients with several options and finding individualized treatment plans. She also approaches each interaction with her clients with patience, warmth,understanding, and helpful explanations and education that facilitate treatment and provide an individual's sense of comfort and trust. She coordinates care with your therapist, primary care physician, or other specialists to ensure optimal wellness.

Stephanie Alire, MSW

Stephanie Alire is a Northern Virginia native who earned her Bachelor in Psychology and Master of Social Work from George Mason University. Stephanie has experience working as a clinical therapist in both an Inpatient and Partial Hospitalization Program setting, where she provided individual, family, and group therapy in addition to crisis intervention and stabilization. Stephanie specializes in working with children, adolescents, and families who are struggling with anxiety, depression, and interpersonal conflict. Stephanie prides herself on being able to meet her clients where they are at, using a strengths-based and solution-focused approach.

Delmy Soto is our office Manager that provides administrative and tech support to Avana Wellness Center. Delmy is organized, detail oriented and able to perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism. She has more than 5 years of experience in the customer service department. Delmy has a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Marymount University. She has strong IT skills, including proficiency in MS office. She is also fluent in Spanish and English.
